Alive.Unposed Full Moon Meditation – September 7, 2025
Theme: Stepping Into the Unknown (click the arrow to view full transcript)
- Opening
Tonight, I’m speaking to you from Al Qudra Duck and Swan Lake, Dubai. Welcome to this full moon meditation. I am sitting under one of the rarest moons we’ll see in our lifetime… a Blood Moon.
The moon has turned a deep red, glowing in the night sky. It feels both beautiful and unsettling. It reminds me of how life can look when we step into the unknown… strange, even scary, but also powerful and alive.
For me, this moon comes at a time of change. I’m leaving behind what I knew, stepping away from the corporate life that gave me structure but not fulfillment. And as I do, fear shows up. Fear of failure. Fear of not knowing what comes next.
But just like this Blood Moon, transformation often looks unfamiliar. It asks us to trust the process, even when we can’t see what’s on the other side.
- Grounding & Breath
Let’s take a moment to settle in. Find a position that feels steady and comfortable.
Close your eyes if you’d like.
Take a deep, slow breath in through your nose…
and exhale through your mouth.
Again, breathing in… filling your lungs completely…
and exhaling, letting go.
Feel your body heavy against the ground, anchored.
Feel the air around you, the sounds, the energy of this night.
Nothing to change. Just being here.
- The Blood Moon as a Mirror
Imagine the full moon above you, glowing red. A rare sight. A reminder that even the most familiar things, like the moon, can change, can show a different face.
Think about your own life right now. The changes you are moving through. The parts of yourself you are just beginning to see.
Leaving behind what was safe. Facing the unknown.
It can feel unsettling, like standing under a red sky.
But just like the moon, this transformation is natural. It is a cycle. It is part of who you are becoming.
- Releasing Fear
Bring to mind one fear that has been living in you lately.
Maybe it’s the fear of failure.
Maybe it’s the fear of leaving what’s familiar.
Maybe it’s the fear of being truly seen.
Picture yourself holding that fear gently in your hands. Feel its weight, its texture.
Take a deep breath in…
And as you exhale, imagine the red light of the Blood Moon surrounding it. Transforming it.
Not erasing it, but shifting its energy… from fear into fuel, from resistance into courage.
Breathe in trust.
Exhale fear.
Again… breathe in courage.
Exhale doubt.
Let the Blood Moon do its work, reminding you that even shadows have their purpose.
- Inviting Possibility
Now imagine yourself standing under this Blood Moon, but instead of fear, feel your body filling with a new kind of energy.
The energy of possibility.
The energy of freedom.
The energy of stepping into a path that feels aligned, even if you don’t yet see where it leads.
Ask yourself quietly: What is one thing I am ready to invite into my life?
Maybe it’s clarity.
Maybe it’s creativity.
Maybe it’s simply peace.
Let that answer rise gently within you.
Breathe it in… hold it for a moment…
And breathe it out through your whole body, as if you’re already living it.
- Closing
As we close this meditation under the Blood Moon, remember: transformation is not always comfortable. The unknown can feel unsettling. But just like this rare moon, what feels unusual can also be breathtaking.
You are not failing. You are shifting.
You are not lost. You are discovering.
You are not breaking. You are becoming.
Take one last deep breath in…
And a slow, long breath out.
And as you return to the rest of your night, carry with you this truth:
You have the courage to step into the unknown.
You have the strength to let fear transform into fuel.
And just like the moon, you are allowed to change, again and again.

Theme: Facing the Storm (click the arrow to view full transcript)
1. Opening
Welcome to this full moon meditation. Tonight, I’m speaking to you from Hua Hin, Thailand, where earlier today I was sitting on the beach when a storm rolled in.
My first instinct was to leave. And I wasn’t alone… people around me started packing up quickly, saying the storm wouldn’t pass anytime soon. Almost everyone left.
But something in me said… stay. Find cover, and see what happens.
And I did. I waited. And when the rain eased, the beach was almost empty. The air felt fresher. The view was even more beautiful than before.
Tonight, as we sit under this full moon… I want to use that moment as our meditation. Because life gives us storms. And we get to decide: run from them, or wait them out and see what’s on the other side.
2. Grounding & Breath
Let’s start by finding a comfortable position. You can sit, lie down, or stand… just be sure you feel supported.
Take a slow breath in… fill your lungs… and a long breath out.
Again… inhale through your nose… slow exhale through your mouth.
Feel your shoulders relax.
Feel your body getting heavier and more grounded with each breath.
Notice what’s around you right now… the sounds, the temperature, the surface under you. No need to change anything… just notice it.
3. The Storm as a Metaphor
Think about a storm you’ve faced recently. Not a weather one, but a life one.
Maybe it was leaving a job.
Maybe it was a tough conversation.
Maybe it was sitting with uncertainty about what’s next.
Your first instinct might have been to run. To avoid. To distract yourself. Just like I wanted to leave that beach today.
But what if, instead of running, you stayed? You waited. You let the discomfort be there until it passed on its own.
Storms… both in life and in the sky… eventually move on.
And sometimes, just like the beach after the rain, what’s left is even better than before.
4. Releasing
Let’s practice letting go of the habit of running from the storm.
Bring to mind one thing you’ve been avoiding or pushing away. Something you’ve been scared to sit with.
Picture yourself holding it in your hands. Feel its weight.
Now take a deep breath in…
And as you breathe out, imagine yourself setting it down. Not throwing it away… just letting it rest.
Again… inhale… let it be there…
Exhale… release the need to fix it right now.
This is what staying looks like. This is what facing the storm feels like.
5. Inviting What Comes After
Now picture the storm easing. The clouds breaking. The air fresh again.
What do you want your ‘after the storm’ to feel like?
Maybe it’s calm.
Maybe it’s clarity.
Maybe it’s space for new ideas to grow.
Breathe that feeling in deeply… hold it for a moment… and breathe it out through your whole body.
Know that it’s coming… just like the sun after rain… if you allow yourself to stay present through the hard parts.
6. Closing
As we close this meditation, remember: storms are temporary. Running from them can mean missing the beauty on the other side.
You don’t have to love the storm… but you can trust it won’t last forever. And when it passes, you might find the space, the peace, and the freedom you’ve been looking for.
Take one last deep breath in…
Long breath out…
And as you move into the rest of your night, carry with you the courage to stay, to wait, and to trust your own timing.
